Ilana Zackon is a multidisciplinary performer and creator. A true wandering artist, she has lived and worked in Montreal, New York City, Vancouver and Toronto. 


On stage, notable productions include Mazel Tov (Infinitheatre), So, How Should I Be? (Presentation House Theatre), The Light We'll Never See (Upintheair Theatre/Theatre Conspiracy), Under Milk Wood (Edinburgh Fringe Festival) and Same Difference (Theatre Conspiracy). Theatre directing credits include Speakeasy Theatre's Pull Fest VII (An Assertive Girl, Teddy Bears) and the Jessie Richardson Award nominated The Great Canadian Porno: The Musical.


On-screen credits include Riverdale (CW Network) and Motherland: Fort Salem (Freeform).

Ilana's voice can be heard advertising many major brands, including Intact Insurance, Colgate and Videotron, among others. Selected video game credits include Livelock (Tuque Games), Mazaam - The Musical Genius (Mazaam Interactive) and Assassins Creed: Origins (Ubisoft). She is the voice of Naya in the animated feature Katak The Brave Beluga (10e Ave Productions).

Ilana's writing has been published in the Canadian Jewish News and Kveller. She is the former co-host of the Canadian Jewish News current affairs podcast “Bonjour Chai”, and the current co-host of the CJN’s arts and culture podcast, “Culturally Jewish”

Ilana is passionate about creating art which invokes social change and inspires audiences to confront their humanity.
